Standard features for the 2018 Eclipse Cross consist of a four-speed speaker audio system, a USB port, Bluetooth, a seven-inch infotainment touchscreen, automatic climate control, cruise control, a rearview camera, rear seats with 60/40 split-folding that can also slide and recline for optimum passenger comfort, and a height-adjustable driver’s seat.

Are there any new interior features for Mitsubishi and the 2018 Eclipse Cross?

Yes! There are quite a few new interior features for the Mitsubishi and certain trim levels of the 2018 Eclipse Cross. All your technology features are controlled by the high-resolution and incredibly thin display. This 7-inch touchscreen is located on top of the instrument panel. Go ahead and plug your smartphone into the USB port to use Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. You can even control these apps via voice recognition with Siri or Google Assistance. You can also control these apps through the touchpad controller, great for driving, with simple tap/swipe operation. More new features for the Eclipse Cross include the full-color Head-Up Display or HUD. This system provides drivers with real-time vehicle information through a full-color LCD display mounted just behind the steering wheel in the driver’s line of sight. The HUD provides drivers with paddle shift gear position, Lane Departure Warnings, Forward Collision Mitigation warnings, cruise control setting, and speed. The HUD also comes with an up/down switch that allows drivers to lower the display into the dash if they don’t want to see it. Another first for Mitsubishi is the use of rear heated seats! The Eclipse Cross also offers a brand new panoramic sunroof with dual pane, large power sliding glass panels that come with tilt and slide capability.

What is MITSUBISHI CONNECT?

MITSUBISHI CONNECT is a system that offers drivers extra confidence behind the wheel and a more personalized driving experience. This system is offered through a subscription-based service utilizing a Telematics Control Unit with a 4G LTE cellular modem and GPS capability. Two buttons inside the CUV connect the driver to an SOS Emergency Assistance and Information/Roadside Assistance. There are two packages offered for the system. The Safeguard services package adds a mileage tracker, alarm notification, stolen vehicle assistance, roadside assistance, information assistance, SOS emergency assistance, and automatic collision notification. The Remote services package adds parental controls (curfew alert, speed alert, and geofence), vehicle settings, car finder, remote lights, remote horn, remote door lock and unlock, and remote climate control.
